You are more than half way through…
The hardest part of any lifestyle + health change is the first 12 weeks. At this point, you should have an idea of what you should + should not be eating.
I will include posts with food ideas, workouts + motivation to keep you going… just know – you can do it!!
About 3 people on the Revival diet have ALREADY lost 15 Lbs. (which is incredible)!
Revival Diet Meal Plan
Weeks Seven through Twelve
At this point, your body should be craving sugar less. If you are still craving sugar, start with week one again. Don’t feel discouraged, this is a life change!
I will be including meals + ideas on how to continue to stay on the revival diet – so stay tuned. However, use this guide to create your meal plans:
Pre-workout: (any of the below options)
Glass of water
1/2 Wild Berry Protein Shake
*You want to keep the pre-workout light – you will burn more if you don’t have a full stomach
Any of the shakes
Breakfast: (any of the below options)
Oatmeal with cinnamon
Ze German Scramble
Eggs w/ cheese + bacon
Yogurt w/ honey + flaxseed meal
Flaxseed Meal Pancakes
*You want your breakfast to not be full of sugar + to include protein
Apple w/ peanut butter
1/2 cup of yogurt (full fat or greek)
¼ cup Roasted almonds
½ cup of Cottage cheese + pineapple
2-3 oz. of sliced cheese of choice
Any salad with either a dairy based dressing or balsamic vinegar (no croutons or breads)
Any wrap w/ low carb tortillas
You can get creative here – just remember – least amount of carbs at night as possible!
If you have a dinner idea (or one you want to make healthier) – just leave a comment and I can send one over to you!
Today, eat to your hearts content. Continue to drink lots of water.
DO NOT JUST HAVE ONE BIG MEAL. Keep your metabolism going and keep food intake up. By the end of this day, you may not like junk as much as you think.
THIS IS ONLY ONE DAY, AND ITS TODAY. IF THIS WEASELS ITS WAY INTO MONDAY, YOU ARE NO LONGER ON THE REVIVAL DIET.
Last week I messed up pretty bad to be honest. I had a cheat day on Saturday + Sunday. I then ate decently throughout the week (but not great). Valentine’s day was full of sugar and so was the weekend. I am giving myself a re-start this week.
The revival diet is not about giving up…but to keep going, even if you mess up! I will be making a list soon of Revival Diet approved recipes to help you make a lifestyle change.
Is there any recipe that you wish was “revival diet approved”?
