Day Ten

Tip of the day: Time management isn’t just helpful for work, but for fitness as well.

Your Meal Plan:

Pre-workout meal
Green Tea

Post Workout Meal
Jessi’s Wake Up and GO Shake
1 scoop of chocolate or Vanilla protein
1 cup of coffee (or packet of instant coffee)
1/4 cup of half and half
few ice cubes
1/2 banana
3-4 drops of stevia
dash of cinnamon on top
*Blend it all up

Breakfast
Juevos Rancheros low carb
2 eggs scrambled
1/2 cup black beans
1/2 avocado
salsa of choice (not sweet salsa like mango)
pepper jack or cheddar cheese
2 Low carb tortillas

Mid Morning snack
Apple with Peanut Butter

Lunch
Gramercy Salad
Spinach
kale
broccoli florets
garbanzo beans
peppadews
aged parmesan
goat cheese
vinaigrette
avocado

Mid Afternoon Snack
1/2 cup of wasabi almonds

Dinner
Parker’s Bun-less burgers
1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp coconut oil
1 Avocado
Red onion
Bacon
Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Kale
Olive oil
(Side of grilled veggies/or quinoa)

 

Workout:

Warm up
NO WARM UP

30 Second Push Up Position Hold
30 Seconds Plank
20 (10 each leg) Stationary Lunges

*Repeat complete cycle 3 times

Day Ten Review:

Today I had a slower start…
My church just started doing 21 days of prayer and fasting. For me, I am fasting my mornings. What I am doing is spending the first hour and a half of my day either journaling, reading my bible or listening to a podcast.

During the revival diet I typically will have a shake or workout before doing anything else. Today I woke up at 8:30 and didn’t actually eat anything till noon. I had a few cups of green team but spent much of my morning focusing on my week.

The Wake up and Go shake, I created because I just love coffee. Parker thought it was going to be gross, but it actually turned out to be amazing.

I am actually learning a lot about time management. I thought one of my resolutions was to be healthier and lose weight – and I am learning a big part of that is my time management.

A new company called NYC-Collective
Social Media for several accounts
Representing a new denim brand in the USA
Revival Diet
Blogging in general
Running Communications for Liberty Church
+ having a social life, being a good friend and spending time with my husband.

With all that said, I am fasting about direction and what to invest the most time in and what to maybe delegate to other people or put down. It’s a lot of work but I am passionate about all the thing’s on that list. However, it doesn’t leave much time for cooking and eating every 5 minutes haha…

However, I made a schedule today… and literally put in my schedule to stop and eat. Let’s see how this works out!

  1. I’m not great at managing my time, but I try to use a planner (or even a scrap of paper!) and write out a general outline of what I want to get done. Then I just hope I can fit it all in.

    Do you think you could do a post on journaling sometime? I know Gracie wrote on her blog that she learned a lot from you about having various journals for different topics/aspects of life. I’d love to know more about that. Thanks!
