KRAVE Jerky review by my husband Parker

Screen Shot 2016-03-02 at 4.15.37 PM I am a mostly very low carb and high fat eater on a daily basis. So when my wife Jessi asked me to do a review on a new jerky company, I jumped at the chance. The name of the Jerky is Krave. I have to say I liked it. I don’t like most jerky. Most run of the mill stuff is over-smoked, cooked into oblivion, and just difficult to eat.

I understand it was originally intended as survival food, but that’s not my particular situation. This is why I liked Krave. It gave me options not only in flavor but in the type of animal I would like to snack on that day. It was tender and well seasoned and easy to eat.

I will be using Krave as a constant travel companion, as the way I eat does not like airports and a quick bite of Krave rather than feeling gross in an airplane will be a relief.

The only thing I would change is the sugar content, most jerky has this, but it was a bit too much for me. But this is coming from a guy who figured out how to make sugar-free cheesecake for fun. All in all, I give Krave a 7.5 out of 10.

I haven’t had a better brand of American jerky.
