Moving from New York City to Orange County was pretty extreme for me. I had lived in Manhattan for 10 years, and brunch had become a weekend staple. You can nearly walk down any street and find a great place to enjoy brunch. I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a “foodie” but I do value great food, a fun atmosphere, and great service.
When I first came to California on vacation – we went to Watertable at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach. I was in shock at how amazing the brunch was. We now live in the neighborhood and it has become our go-to spot. We love bringing friends from out of town because it’s right on the water and feels like you’re on vacation. The service is amazing (shout out to Grayson and Rocky) and little kids eat from the breakfast buffet for free (SCORE!).
My favorite brunch items are:
The French Toast (omg so perfect)
The Lemon pancakes
Everything is great though! I highly recommend 🙂
